During an interview with the Daily Mail, Tierney confessed he still doesn’t know what his future with Arsenal will hold, but thanked Real Sociedad for their confidence in him.
“It’s hard to say. I loved my time there and I still have two more years on my contract. I’m very grateful to Arsenal. I don’t know what will happen. But I love it here, no doubt about it,” Tierney said.
“I feel I have settled in quite well and hope I can answer the faith the club has put in me. This is a talented team with world class players and many coming from the academy. It’s an amazing story.”
Tierney is currently contracted to Arsenal until 2026. While on loan at Real Sociedad there is no obligation to buy or an option to buy.
