Leao started for AC Milan in Friday’s 1-0 Serie A win at Verona, but did not last the first half after being injury and having to signal for his substitution.
The Portugal international suddenly stopped and went down to ground, immediately signalling to Paulo Fonseca on the bench that he need to be substitute.
Leao was spott telling the medical staff that he ‘felt a pull’ in his thigh and Milan will hope he managed to stop before doing any further damage at the Stadio Bentegodi.
The Portuguese winger has been struggling with a thigh problem, forcing Paulo Fonseca to replace him with Theo Hernandez, while also making tactical changes, moving Alex Jimenez to the left wing in place of Leo.
